What type of application will you be submitting?

First Year Applicants

  • Students with a high school diploma or GED who have earned fewer than 12 credits at a college or university.

Transfer Applicants

  • Students who have earned 12 or more credits at another accredited college or university since graduating from high school are eligible to apply as transfer applicants.

Internal Transfer Applicants

  • Current non-CALS, degree-seeking Cornell students who will have completed at least two full-time semesters at Cornell (12 credits minimum/semester) prior to transitioning to CALS. Interested in Transferring to CALS

  • Current CALS Students Interested in Changing Majors

Visiting Students

  • Visiting Student status is a non-degree program that is extended to a limited number of students who desire instruction in selected CALS courses in order to update current knowledge or to prepare for employment.
